All residences are served by private wells. The vast majority of Kildeer residences have private septic systems. The subdivisions of Beacon Hill, Bishop’s Ridge, Foxborough Unit III, Heron’s Crossing , Meadowood Estates, Prestonfield and the Ponds, Prairie Creek Tall Oaks, & Sterling Manor have sewer systems which serve their residents.

Residential Waste - hauling is provided weekly by Waste Management-Northwest. All garbage, refuse, recyclable and landscape waste will be picked up on Wednesdays, beginning at 6:30 a.m. Garbage materials may be placed out for pick up no earlier than 6:00 p.m. the night before and containers must be removed from curbside the same evening of pick up.

Landscape Waste - the village encourages residents to maintain their yards in an ecologically sound manner. They are also encouraged to "cut it high and let it lie" and to compost leaves, mulch, branches, twigs, shrubs, etc. Residents may also arrange for seasonal (April 1 - December 15), pick up of yard waste through the hauler.
