Release of Resident Information:
It continues to be the policy of the Village not to release information on
residents name, addresses or phone numbers. |
 |
Neighbor Disputes:
In general, the Village does not become involved in various homeowner and/or
property disputes between neighbors. The Village recommends matters be
resolved in a civil and neighborly way. |
 |
Residential Signage:
Village Ordinance provides for the placement of one residential "For
Sale" sign for each lot; not to be placed in the right-of-way or within
35 feet of side lot lines and only to be posted on the particular property
which is for sale. Additional open house signs, directional signs,
contractor advertising signs, garage sale signs and the like are expressly
prohibited. Please make your Realtor aware of these Ordinances when
you list your house, as they will be enforced by the Police Department. |
 |
Mosquito Spraying:
With the recent occurrence of West Nile Virus to
our area; the Village has contracted with Clarke Mosquito who will
conduct survey's of area mosquito breeding grounds and perform
necessary treatments if deemed necessary. |
 |
RV/Truck Storage, etc.:
While we do not have any ordinance prohibiting or regulating the storage of
boats, campers, and the like, the Village continues to encourage residents
to consider their neighbors in the placement and screening of these items. |
 |
Right-Of-Way Maintenance:
Residents continue to be encouraged to maintain the rights-of-way in front
of their homes. The Village will continue to mow only at dangerous
intersections or curves. The purpose of the roadside ditch is to carry
water runoff; ditches in some areas may never be completely dry. |
