Test Message Script to Residents and Businesses

Hello, this is Police Chief Jeffrey Lilly with a test message from the Village of Kildeer Emergency Management Services. The Village of Kildeer now has a community notification system that will be used to call you about important issues affecting the community. The Village of Kildeer would like to take this opportunity to remind you that this week is Severe Weather Awareness Week. With the beginning of spring comes the increased likelihood of dangerous weather including heavy rains, flooding and severe thunderstorms.

Future messages may contain information and directions regarding issues such as weather alerts and disaster information, missing children, crime prevention alerts, or streets closures in your area. This system will augment our primary emergency services to keep you better informed. Further information on this system will be published in the Village's spring newsletter.

Once again, this is only a test and there is no need for you to respond. If you would like to add alternate contact phone numbers or email addresses, please contact Sgt Allen Barron at the Kildeer Police Department at 847-719-2900 or send an e-mail to connect@villageofkildeer.com.

Thank you for your time, and good bye.
